Las Vegas is about to be "all shook up" as a band of Elvis impersonators swoop down on The Riviera Casino in one of the biggest heists of the city's history. What should have been an easy money job turned out to be a shoot 'em up free-for-all in this action packed joy ride.
This movie has more stars in it than Sin City has twinkling lights and more plot twists than the King has hip shakes.
Kevin Cstner gives an earth shattering performance as "Murphy" the illegitimate love child of the late King of Rock and Roll. He is a sinister Kid Creole who has no regard for human life...people are just a waste of time if they have nothing to offer him.
Kurt Russell, who has experience as The King from past movie roles, plays Michael, a bad guy with a conscience. He meets Cybil (Courtney Cox) and her cleptomaniac son Jessie in the middle of the Nevada desert. Eventually, she ends up with all the money from the robbery and is being hunted down by Murphy and her son becomes the shrewd partner in crime with Michael.
A must see "cops and robbers" movie that gives up dry wit and raw emotion. Regardless of what some might say, this can be a "chick-flick". Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell...I was glued to the set!!!
VIVA LAS VEGAS!

Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?
Starring:
George Clooney
John Turturro
Tim Blake Nelson
John Goodman
Holly Hunter

Based on the novel "The Oddessey" by Homer, this fun, deep south, depression era movie has a star studded cast, a great story line, and a soundtrack that will leave you laughing and tapping your toes for days after. Three small time criminals (Clooney, Turturro, Nelson) escape from a chain gang in the deep south. Clooney plays dashing Everette Ulysees McGill, a man with big dreams, scheming ideas and the gift of gab. He could probably hit the jack pot if he wasn't so concerned with his hair. Following along are his dim-witted sidekicks Delmar (Nelson) and Pete (Turturro) and they set off in search of hidden treasure. In need of money they stop off at a small radio station and record an old-timey song for $10 a piece. With some jingle in their pockets they set out, all the while being tracked by a bounty hunter who would rather see them singing from a tree branch. They get baptised, they hitch a ride with bank-robbing Baby Face Nelson, they meet three beautiful maids by a creek (who happen to turn Pete into a toad) and meet up with Big Dan Teague (Goodman) who also has the gift of gab and bilks them out of their money. Throughout this journey of living hand to mouth and dodging the law and the clan, the boys have a hit song on their hands that they don't even know about.
This is a great movie for the whole family...you'll be laughing till you cry.

The riviting true story of George Jung. Young George was born to middle class parents in Massachusetts. He watched as his father struggled with the family business in the early fifties. His mother was never quite satisfied and nagged for more until she finally left George to live alone with his father. Upon her return a few years later she expected things to pick up where they had left off but found otherwise with a cold and bitter young son on her hands. George eventually grew up and moved to California amidst the golden, free-love days of the late sixties. The sand and surf, beautiful girls, and marajuana as far as the eye can see. Somewhere along the way George found that there was money...big money...to be made selling drugs...and LOTS of it. He makes big connections with drug cartels and embarks on a ride of non-stop fast lane travelling between the States, Columbia, and Federal Prison. It's not long before George is out and making money again. By the late 70's and early 80's George has more than $60million in a Columbian bank account and is the biggest drug dealer in the states. Alliances become deadly, back-stabbing enemies and the volumne gets turned way up as George's empire begins to crumble. Married to Mertha (Cruz) a beautiful Columbian woman with an appetite for large doses of cocaine and the finer things in life, George tries to settle down and have a family. But his own family ties start to deteriorate as his mother snitches him off to the Feds and his father tries to be as supportive as he can to a drug lord son.
This true story spans the exciting, dangerous, and most times sad life of George Jung. A brilliant performance by Depp and a wonderful soundtrack that allows you to journey back to the 70's.
Sex, drugs and rock and roll !!!!!

When someone does a big favor for you that you wouldn't do for yourself, don't pay it back...pay it forward. This is the premise of Travis' junior high school teacher's class project. Change the world.
Kevin Spacey plays a solitary, secretive teacher who thinks there's good things to be done by the youth of today. He wants his class to think outside their limitations.Travis (Osment) is his deep thinking student who takes his assignment to heart. His mother, on the other hand, thinks that the assignment is a cruel lesson to be learned by her son who could never fulfill his teacher expectations. Helen Hunt is Travis' single, alcoholic mother who has a hard time trusting, understanding, and coping with life. Little does anybody know that Travis has started a world-wide chain reaction of kindness with his school project.
If you want to curl up in front of the tube in your robe and have a good cry...this is the movie to watch. I cried in my backyard for 20 minutes solid after this movie. It will make you want to run and hug your children.
